The wrinkle fillers have been on the market for 20 years or so now but have been recently linked to some major side effects. These side effects range from just mild allergic reactions, all the way up causing the face of the patient to become disfigured. The FDA has stated that over the past six years, they have received 930 reports of serious side effects being caused by the wrinkle fillers. This shows that now may be the time for the FDA to alter the label of the wrinkle fillers to add warnings. They are often used by women and are injections whcih are usually used to reduce wrinkles in the face. Some of the more popular types include Juvederm from Allergan Inc, as well as Perlane and Restylane from Medicis. The FDA met with an independent panel yesterday to talk about possible changes to the label and to see what they can do to prevent these side effects. Source: dBTechno
